Hey Cool Car Fans,
I have a really cool 2004 Jaguar XJ Vanden Plas on consignment with super low miles and priced to sell fast. The Jaguar is an interesting vehicle and this one was owned by an older couple that was inherited by their daughter last year and she has asked me to sell it for her. Somebody is going to get a very nice ride at a great price of just $14,950.
In 2004 Jaguar redesigned the XJ from the ground up. Jaguar has a real and impressive heritage in the world of luxury cars and motor sports, but the reality is that their past doesn’t mean that much when comparing the old XJ to the newer and less expensive wealth of Asian and American luxury cars. Jaguar has had to compete to stay relevant to the luxury car buyer and in 2004 they came out with this vehicle that was quite impressive.
I remember delivering a 1997 Jaguar XJ Vanden Plas a few years ago to a guy who flew into town just to get that vehicle. At the time, the car seemed impressive for a number of reasons. The interior was luxurious, plus the prestige driving a Jaguar that looked cool.
Only Mercedes-Benz and BMW approached the Jag in terms of opulence in the late 80’s and even the late 90’s, but even the best the Germans had to offer back in that time didn’t feel right inside compared to the warm look and feel of the British XJ. Lexus, Acura and Infiniti didn’t exist when Jaguar was making luxury automobiles, and for many years the Jaguar brand seemed almost comparable to Rolls-Royce in terms of their fancy interiors and public persona.
If you’ve ever wanted to own a Jaguar, you should check this one out for just under $15,000. This amazing car cranks out almost 300hp in a RWD luxury vehicle that sold new for right around $70,000. It’s a pretty cool vehicle and priced to move. It only has around 38,000 original miles!
