Must See VW GTI MK V Un-pimp Commercials Are Hilarious

This series of funny VW commercial creates a spoof on the MTV Show “Pimp My Ride” where the host of the show “pimps” the rides of wannabe pimp mobiles. As the MTV website puts it, the host of the show “pulls drivers off the road who are guilty of committing heinous vehicular style crimes and gives their wheels the ultimate pimp-over.”

In these commercials, a crazy German scientist and his strange assistant do an “un-pimp” makeover on vehicles that are pimped out. Each vehicle is replaced with a new VW German engineered racing machine – the new 2006 GTI MK V.

VW GTI MK VEven if you’ve never seen the MTV show you will get a kick out of these crazy commercials for the new GTI MK V. They are hilarious! See all the videos at YouTube or click on the graphic to see the first video.

New VW GTI Fast Commercials Are Getting Mixed Reviews

VW Fast Girlfriend Cinderella Man dvdrip VW has released some new commercials to promote the new VW GTI that they’ve brought back into their line of vehicles.

The innovative commercials are hitting the airwaves with a new character they call “My Fast” with deep voice slogans like: “My fast has a problem with authority.” A GTI driver gets let off with a warning from a police officer. and “My fast likes to keep things light.” A GTI driver insists on keeping his ride streamlined, at any cost, even if he loses his girlfriend.

These commercials are a bit strange and probably will appeal more to men than women. I’m a VW fan having personally owned four VW Beetles and my wife Becky and I have also owned three VW Passats.

One of my favorite VW’s to drive was the old VW Scirocco that the new GTI reminds me of, but with way better technology of course. This new GTI should be a blast to drive. If you’re interested in having me arrange a test drive at my or your office, drop me an email or call me.

Let me know what you think, but posting a comment below. Personally, I think they are pretty cool, but I like the Unpimp videos, mentioned in another post, much better.

2002 Toyota MR2 Spyder Now Available

I have a client that has just put her black 2002 Toyota MR2 for sale. Here’s a great opportunity to pick up a classic little sports car at a great price.

Review: The MR2 didn’t changed much since its rebirth after a five-year break. In 2001 Toyota added leather as a $660 option. Everything else came standard and it was loaded with power windows, door locks, AM/FM/Cassette/CD sound system, alloy wheels, tilt steering, wind deflector, glass rear windows with defroster, and a leather steering wheel.

The Spyder came in seven colors, with either black or red cloth seats, or tan leather interior. This model is black with the tan leather.

All MR2s come with the same engine as was used in the Celica GT, a 1.8-liter, 16-valve four-cylinder, with variable valve timing and electronic management technology like that in its high-end Lexus family member.

The engine’s 138 horsepower moves the 2200-pound car great. It can accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in a little less than 7 seconds. Toyota’s VVT-i engine used a variable-valve timing, but it doesn’t generate a big surge of power when it switches to the high-power cam profile. This is good in a small engine, because it means the powerband feels broader. The maximum torque of 125 foot-pounds hits at 4400 rpm, so you have to be in the correct gear to maximize performance.

At 70 mph, this little sports car will hum along at 3500 rpm, happily and with no significant vibration. Like the Mini-Cooper of today, you will want to make sure that you keep the right tires on, and at the right pressure, for the best driving experience.

The car handles great and is a blast to drive. The MR2 Spyder is a great little sports car with impressive technology in the engine, chassis and gearbox. Its acceleration is exciting because its a light weight vehicle, yet the ride is solid and admirable. It is comfortable and convenient, but its mission is not misguided by luxury. The convertible top can be lowered quickly, so you can fully enjoy the top-down driving experience, or get it up fast if the weather changes on you. And it did all this for a reasonable price.

Now you can own a car that is soon to become a classic, the Toyota MR2 Spyder with under 40,000 miles at a very reasonable sports car price.

Estimated 2002 MSRP Price : $24,500

Miles: 36,220
Transmission: 5 speed manual
Body Style: 2-Dr Convertible
Engine: 1.8L Inline 4
Drivetrain: Rear Wheel Drive
