I recently had an avid car fan send me photos of a very cool 1951 Ford pickup that some friends of his were looking to sell. He asked me to help him sell the vehicle and at the time of this post it’s available, but I thought it was such a cool truck that I would give it a “Cool Car Shot” posting at CoolCarGuy.com.

I’ve had a number of people asking about this truck, but nobody has stepped forward to claim the prize and put down the cash to buy it. My guess is that people are concerned about the gas mileage.

Personally, I think this would be a great promotional vehicle for a local business. In Castle Rock, Colorado there is a guy who drives around an old restored pickup like this one for his Allstate business. The amount of advertising and business he has created from the truck has more than paid for the cost of the vehicle.
